Engagement
In 2022 we established an equity and cultural safety working and governance group.
January 2012
We held two Māori-led huis and began refining a set of Māori-led values. This involved engagement with senior Māori clinicians and advisors.
Evaluation
We have evaluations of courses from all participants and have undertaken interviews with almost 100 NetworkZ instructors to understand how the programme is working and how it could be improved. This year we are working with Māori and Pasifica colleagues to explore their experiences of the training and where we can work together to improve the experience for Māori and Pacific participants and improve health equity in Aotearoa.
January 2012
Collect ethnicity data to evaluate the programme’s cultural safety and inclusiveness of Māori and Pasifika acute care staff.
January 2012
Explored patient and community engagement opportunities and focus groups
