PACU training simulations are set in the post-operative environment. Management of post-operative patients can be dynamic and challenging with unexpected events, so the scenarios require management of the deteriorating patient with either significant events or insidious deterioration.

The training focuses on concise handovers, ISBAR and multidisciplinary interactions.
